INFORMATION ...
Absence, contact us before 9:30am if your child is going to be absent. Illness, we follow guidelines from Public Health England and 'Health Protection in schools and other childcare settings'. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/health-protection-in-schools-and-other-childcare-facilities Coronavirus (Covid-19), do not send your child to school if they or someone in your household are showing coronavirus symptoms. Arrange a test if you or your child develops symptoms and inform us of the results. Please follow this link for symptoms https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ Gastrointestinal illness, diarrhoea &/or vomiting, keep your child away from school for 48 hours after the symptoms have stopped to limit the spread of any infection. Mediciation and antibiotics, we will support children who have been prescribed medication and antibiotics FOUR times a day in school. Antibiotics prescribed three times a day can be taken out of the school day (breakfast, after school, bedtime). Parents are responsible for bringing and collecting medication each day and must complete the necessary forms, prior to the medication being administered. Medication should be in its original packaging and the childs name on the pharmacy label. A written Individual Healthcare Plan (IHCP) is required for children with a medical condition or illness, that requires long term medication in school e.g. inhaler. |
