We are committed to promoting healthy food at morning break and lunch times. All our children are entitled to a free hot school meal at lunchtime. All meals are eaten in the village hall. Our hot meals are supplied by Edwards and Ward via our Hub Kitchen at Buckingham Primary School. A copy of the menu is below.
If your child has an allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement a form must be completed to provide the relevant details to Edwards and Ward, to ensure that a suitable alternative meal is provided. Please speak to us, if you wish to notify us of an allergen, dietary requirement, or, wish to opt-out of hot school meals and provide a healthy packed lunch. Packed lunches must be named and not contain glass bottles, sweets or chocolate. We are a nut free school and consideration should be given to children with potential allergens e.g. nuts within the lunch you provide.
In addition, if you are in receipt of some benefits, your child is eligible to receive Pupil Premium and entitled to support and help with for example, school uniform, educational visits, extra-curricular clubs and milk and from entering Year 3 your child is entitled to continue with free school meals.
