Headteacher

Mrs Olivia Quirke is the Headteacher and she has been at Thornborough since 2018.  She is passionate about Early Years and KS1 learning, as well as being an advocate for small schools.

  • Why did you want to work in Education? I looked up to my teachers, and they were a role model to me.

School Secretary

Mrs Amanda Willmot has been at Thornborough since 2010.  She has a vast amount of experience and expertise and is an invaluable member of the team.

  • Why did you want to work in Education?  I am Early Years trained.  A change of course led me to the Civil Service and having my own children led me back to education.

Reception Teachers

Mrs Lizzie Krelle joined us in January 2022.  In such a short time she has proved to be an invaluable member of our team.

Miss Sarah Fenlon joined us as an Early Career Teacher in July 2022.

KS1 Teachers

We are very excited that Mrs Emma Maulkerson joined us in September 22.

Teaching Assistants

Mrs Barbara Sutherland is the longest serving team member, starting at Thornborough in 2009.  Her experience is priceless!
