Absence from school 

The school day is 8:45am - 3:15pm.  It is important that you contact us before 9:30am if your child is going to be absent from school.  Absences must be reported on the first day.

The Department of Education has amended the Education (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2006. The amendments make clear that Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time.  Failure to do so will result in the absence being unauthorised.  All children need to be in school during May and June for Government Statutory Assessments (SATs).
