School Development Plan - Priorities
Every school has a School Development Plan (SDP). Ours was written by the staff, Governing Body and the children of Thornborough. It reflects the important issues within our school, highlights the main priorities for the academic year and outlines how we propose to achieve them.
We update our plan each year, focussing on new things that we would like to introduce and existing strategies that we would like to keep high on our priority list. An SDP will be informed by the regular self-evaluation a school undertakes of its own performance and contextual data, and will contain the school’s improvement priorities together with short- and longer-term targets.
