At Thornborough Infant School, we believe that it is important that all children have an understanding of sustainability and climate action. We believe that children are at the centre of sustainability and climate action and aim to empower them with a range of knowledge and skills, so that they can positively impact and improve the sustainability of the environment around them.
Children take part in a range of activities and experiences to enrich their understanding. This includes working with the local community and building links with external organisations to create a more sustainable community. Sustainability and climate action is woven through the school’s curriculum and is an integral part of all aspects of school life.
Children are encouraged to become well-rounded global citizens for sustainability and climate action change.
